Hi, I’m Mireia

I’m a speech-language therapist based in Valencia, Spain. I work with each person, taking into account their individual needs and everyday life. I’m also a singer, and I bring both sides of my experience into my work.

My Approach

The Way I Work

After working in a clinical setting, I came to realise how important it is to provide therapy in the environments where people go about their everyday lives.

Working in these settings allows us to address difficulties in a more practical way and apply what we work on in sessions to real-life situations.

That’s why I offer home-based and online therapy, and also visit schools to work with children in their school environment. I tailor each session to the person’s needs, circumstances and the goals we want to achieve.

Working Together

A Team Approach

I believe speech therapy works best when there’s good communication and coordination between the professionals involved in a person’s care. That’s why, when needed, I work closely with other specialists, such as psychologists, dentists, ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialists, school counsellors and teachers.

Sharing information and working towards the same goals helps us better understand each person’s needs and provide consistent, coordinated support.
